Well I'm having no luck with motivating myself to write anything for uni, so I'm gonna write a couple of reviews instead. They're a little late - both games I'm talking about here came out late 2014, so why not ring in the new year with them? I wanna talk about two of my favourite games: Shadow of Mordor, and Far Cry 4.

A beautiful end to the year
First of all, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a happy new year. For my part, I got a £20 Steam code and bought a ton of new games with it, of which more next week. More importantly, around Christmas I saw two absolutely wonderful movies, and that's what I want to talk about here.

What about Second Breakfast?
Well I went to see the Hobbit today. I saw it in glorious 3D, running at 48 fps and almost entirely digital.
What can I say?

Hobbit Hang-ups
So the Hobbit is coming out tomorrow. Peter Jackson's new trilogy, and it's starring Martin Freeman and a whole ton of Hollywood heavyweights, not to mention Benedict Cumberbatch. From the cast list alone I'm expecting a flashier version of BBC's Sherlock; what can I say? I'm setting myself up for disappointment here.
