Welcome, one and all!

Hello,

Welcome to my blog.

I have another blog. It's http://storyboards.blog.com but the servers always seem to be overloaded, so I thought I'd try this out, see how it went. If it's better, good - everything on there can move to this site and I can have a place to put all my rubbish. The picture in the background? That's one of mine. All the weird little tangents and thoughts in posts to come? Mine. A product of My Messed-up Mind.

Fact is, I want a place to write my thoughts, to put my pictures. Thinker, that's for my stories. It stores everything, good or bad. I want this to store the good things - my thoughts, my feelings (less of those - I'm an emotionless bastard), all those silly little things that go on in day-to-day life that I never comment on. The funny things I notice on television, online, everywhere. Only the good things.

I don't think most of my weird little drawings are worth your time, internet. But they're going up here, and that's final. As for me, I'm going up here too; you might learn a thing or two about me if you stick with me. I'll be studying creative writing at university, if I ever get round to accepting offers - I'm taking a year out, thinking of doing deferred entry, but if I'm too late, fuck 'em. I'll start that UCAS stuff again next year. Anyway, creative writing. It's hobby of mine, I'm interested in going pro. My stories aren't up to scratch right now, but I'm working on it. This isn't a blog for those stories, as I've said. I'm hoping this'll be more for day-to-day life at uni, how things are going, if I ever get motivated and learn to draw properly I'll put a webcomic up here. Does that sound good to you guys?

Not that "you guys" exist at the moment. No, right now you're a hypothetical effect this blog will cause. There's not going to be anything really useful up here, because I'm not a particularly useful kinda guy - as I write this, it's 1:55 in the morning and I'm writing a story. But I'll occasionally write stuff that'll make you think, so come along for those things.

And if you're wondering about the title, well The Inkpot was taken. And then I began thinking about the places in my life, and the one which crops up all the time - the place I always feel pretty good - is Coffee Lounge. It's on Navigation Street, I believe, in Birmingham (UK, for all you Americans - and may I say, good job finding Bin Laden. It only took you ten years), and it does the best coffee in town. Also, you get twenty percent off if you go there by train. How great is that?

Anyway, I'm gonna sign off now. Consider this a taste of the usual flavour of this blog. It's for me, my friends (if they can stand it) and people who won't like the jokes I put up here (sorry, Americans). If you don't enjoy that, fuck you. This is MY blog, and I'll goddamn swear if I bloody well want to...
